/widescreen removed in Windows 7 RC?

Has the /widescreen option to ehshell.exe been changed or removed for Windows 7 RC 7100? It no longer seems to do anything, i.e. when I run Media Center in windowed mode with the /widescreen option to ehshell.exe, it is still appearing in a 4:3 window. Was working fine for me under Vista and older Win7 releases.

I confirmed on a second Windows 7 RC installation, to make sure I wasn't doing something foolish. This is on x86; haven't tried it on Win7 x64.

Assuming it is broken/changed, is there a workaround to get the same functionality? It's really useful when developing on a 4:3 monitor.

    Thanks,

    Eddy

Re: /widescreen removed in Windows 7 RC?

Hmm... after a bit more experimentation, it seems it's working okay in Windows 7 but my understanding of how it worked was incorrect.

Specifically, if the previously saved window size when running in 4:3 mode in a desktop window was more than 3/4 of the width of the screen, /widescreen is ignored and media center remains at 4:3. Shrinking the window smaller, closing, and restarting properly goes into /widescreen mode.
