iPhone control of Vista Media Center

    Hi everyone,

Our company has developed an iPhone application which will be released very shortly on the AppStore which allows you to create a custom GUI and control any hardware or software that can communicate via TCP Sockets.

Would someone be willing to create a plugin for Media Center that works with our software protocol to control Media Center from an iPhone?

I have also made a post over at thegreenbutton.com which contains more information. So please have a read of that as well -

    Thanks,

Re: iPhone control of Vista Media Center

    Hi Jarrod,

I have already done something very similar with my iPhone.
I have a working (not entirely complete yet) TCP controllable plug-in for Media Center.

I have gone one step beyond this and as of today got working speech control of media center from the iPhone.
I had a speech control program for Media Center going a while back where you can do things like "Play <song> by <artist>" and the like....

If you are interested in having a chat then I can be contacted on fuzz dot young at gmail

I might drop you a line via e-mail also.
